"I make history. I can beat any divas, on any show, in any match, at any given time.”
I remember fighting like crazy for Nattie to get the spotlight in that match, because not everybody was fighting for that. I thought: she’s the one that helped us; she’s the one that we were picking on during this whole storyline. She should be the one that pushes us through the table, she should be the one that gets her hand raised — she should be the one that puts LayCool to shame. She deserves this. And it was like, this hard, hard battle. That was her moment and I don’t think it would have been fair for anybody else to take that away from her or for anyone to try and take that away from her.” - Michelle McCool
Today in History- Michelle McCool vs Natalya Divas Championship Hell in a Cell 2010Fun match tho neck was jacked&sharpshooter KILLS!😝
The WWE Divas Championship has been defended twice in a Fatal 4-Way match on Pay-Per-View (Fatal Four Way 2010 saw Eve Torres (c) face Alicia Fox, Gail Kim & Maryse while Royal Rumble 2011 saw Natalya (c) square off with Layla, Michelle McCool and Eve Torres), with the belt changing hands on both occasions. In neither match was the defending Champion the participant to be pinned/submitted (Alicia Fox pinned Maryse to get the win at Fatal Four Way and Eve Torres pinned Layla at Royal Rumble). At Night of Champions, the Divas Title on its own has been defended three times with the belt changing hands on two occasions. Kelly Kelly is the only woman to successfully defend the Championship at the PPV as Mickie James defeated Maryse in 2009 and Eve Torres defeated Layla in 2012 for the Title.(Extra: The 2010 bout between Michelle McCool (c) and Melina (c) was a Championship Unification match rather than a straight-up Title defense which is why I haven’t included it in the above).
