I don’t think this is a Don Bluth film, I think it’s from FOX.

You’re right! It’s Richard Rich. Mea culpa… I probably got it confused with one of his other films. I guess it’s a run-off of the Disney effect, i.e. if it’s not Disney but “feels like Disney” it’s usually Bluth. I kind of forgot all about Fox and others forays into 2D animation. The Swan Princess was released by Columbia Pictures.

In any event, I wish SOMEBODY was making more cell-shaded 2D full-length theatrical releases nowadays.
