“Everyone loves Kharma so much but they’re gonna be disappointed when she comes back and squashes all the divas they love like Natalya, Eve and probably even AJ. “

OP, I think you misunderstand why many of us love Kharma to begin with. This is EXACTLY what I want… and then I want someone to step their game up and get on Kharma’s level.
Hard concept to grasp, I know.
Hopefully we’re all smart enough to know that’s never gonna happen. She’s gonna wrestle 1-minute squash matches, probably injuring all of her opponents, and then her winning streak will come to an end when Kelly beats her with a “surprise” roll-up. Calling it right now.
Welp. Firstly, we’re of complete opposing views on Kharma and secondly, if Kharma is defeated by K2 using a roll-up that will be the LAST time I watch anything WWE related this decade.
“Kharma can’t wrestle to save her life”?
Have you even SEEN her work in Japan, SHIMMER, TNA…basically everywhere besides WWE? She’s never injured anyone (besides popping Gail Kim’s implants…BUT THAT’S WHY IT’S CALLED THE “IMPLANT BUSTER”, PEOPLE!). If anybody gets injured by her, it’s the Divas’ faults for being too fragile/not knowing how to take bumps.
Yes, I saw all those powerbombs and no-selling she did in TNA. It was really impressive. I also witnessed her throwing a chair at Roxxi’s face and cutting her head open, then powerbombing her while she was knocked out. And also dragging Gail Kim around the ring after she had already injured her knee, instead of just picking her up and hitting that impressive powerbomb. I know wrestling is dangerous, but there’s a difference between taking a bump and your opponent being reckless. And she also injured Alicia Fox and Layla in the short time she was in the WWE. And it’s not about being too “fragile” or not taking bumps, all those women have taken bigger bumps then a powerbomb or a clothesline, but they were able to do it safely, unlike when they’re in the ring with Kharma. Besides her Implant Buster (that move that McCool can also do) and a powerbomb (that move that everyone can do) what the hell’s so impressive about her? She’s big, I get that, but I think we all agreed (at least for people like Mark Henry, Big Show and Tensai) that that doesn’t make you a good wrestler.
Except all that no-selling and overall viciousness is a part of her character.
She’s not good ‘cuz she’s big, she’s good ‘cuz she’s GOOD and you’re just a shit-head who can’t see that. It’s one thing to have preferences but you’re just being ridiculous.
I love know-it-alls and elitists. Especially pro-wrestling ones. They’re adorable.
I must admit though, I got a little too extreme in my blind stanning of Kharma. They’re lucky I didn’t tell them to go choke and die on their shitty opinions. @_______________@V
I didn’t realize wrestling could produce such feelz.[/late to the party]
I just find it odd that Kharma is worthy of critiques that her peers (male and female) don’t get. Why is that, I wonder?
The stuff about ‘actually injuring someone’ amuses me because NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF PRO-WRESTLING has anyone ever been actually hurt and still have to finish a match regardless. I just… I don’t get how it’s okay for some people to do some things but not for others.
And anytime someone talks about movesets, I start cringing. Yeah, I’ve had stupid stan moments where I felt like so-and-so was “stealing a move” but the fact is that there are only so many things that can be executed without actually hurting somebody. Powerbombs have been used as finishers for freaking ever, and nobody ever says shit about how similar Jazz and Beth Phoenix’s finishers are.
There is being objectively critical and then there’s nitpicking out of preference. I don’t expect anyone to change their opinions, but I do wish I could get a better understanding of this particular one.
