Ignoring the obvious cultural problems this film has, I will say that is one thing I enjoyed about it. Because, in real life, I don’t really know that many people who stay with the first person who shows interest in them. Especially in Rapunzel’s case, since Flynn is literally the first person she’s ever met outside of Gothel (not to mention the first male). Life doesn’t work like that (often), and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with showing that to children.
